With over one million subscribers around the world, FishAngler is the largest free community where anglers can share catches, ideas and the love of fishing.

We are proud to provide a space where anglers actively support each other and the sport. With so many members, however, disagreements and unwanted follows are bound to happen.

That’s why we give every FishAngler member the power to control who they interact with and who follows their account.

Your management tools are easy to find and give you several options. Follow below for your short guide to controlling your FishAngler account.

If you happen upon an account containing abusive language, spam material, or get an unwanted follow:

Step 1

Go to the user’s profile, by tapping the username at the top of the comment, or post.

Then, tap the three dots in the top right corner of their profile.

Step 2

You can choose between unfollowing, blocking, or reporting the user, on the next menu.

Unfollowing a user will prevent you from seeing any of their posts on your “following feed”.

Blocking a user will prevent you from seeing the user’s posts. Thus preventing them from interacting with you and your catches, as well.

Reporting a user should be designated for users with abusive language, unacceptable content, or any accounts that may be spam (false, or fake, accounts advertising other websites, or inappropriate content).  When you report a user, you will provide a reason for the report, and be prompted to provide details that will be helpful in determining whether the account in question should be deleted.

Step 3

Your last option for reporting suspect users is to send an email to the FishAngler Team. Send you emails to support@fishangler.com and be sure to provide the name of the user and, if possible, a screenshot of the profile. This will help the team identify and, if need be, delete the offending account as soon as possible.

With such a large platform of anglers all over, we are all in this community together. Above all let’s all do our part to keep this a fishing community of anglers and for anglers only.
