2020 is finally gone and FishAngler is celebrating another momentous year.

Brand new features, more users than ever, and some of the most awe inspiring fishing photos and videos from around the world spotlighted 2020. And, of course, none of it would have been possible without the dedicated anglers that make up our growing fishing community!

Milestones

🎉 One Million New Users

  • 2020 saw a giant increase in users from across the globe!  With over one million anglers signing up in 2020, FishAngler is the preferred free fishing app worldwide!

🎉 2 Million Anglers Worldwide

  • With over one million users adding their catches, advice and expertise around the world, FishAngler has quickly become the premier place to explore new fishing opportunities, catch more fish and connect with anglers everywhere!

🎉 350K Catches Logged 

  • 2020 saw a record number of fishing posts flood the FishAngler App feed. We saw thousands of posts come in every week, which worked out to one catch posted every 90 seconds. Posts featured different species and different fishing styles from every corner of the world! 

🎉 100K Pieces of Fishing Gear Added

  • Over 100,000 rods, reels, lures and baits were added to FishAngler in 2020. FishAngler users now have insight into the most effective fishing gear and its best uses, like never before.

🎉 100K New Bodies of Water Added

  • 100,000 ponds, lakes and creeks were added to the FishAngler database. These fishable bodies of water are all over the world and waiting for exploration!

🎉 200 Countries and Territories

  • Anglers from over 200 countries and territories now post their fishing photos to the platform. With this many anglers posting their species and tactics, FishAngler is now the best free fishing resource anywhere!

New Features

Video

  • You asked and we listened. In October FishAngler implemented video functionality, allowing users to upload videos of their greatest fishing moments on both iOS and Android devices. Over 2,000 fishing videos have already been uploaded onto the platform! 

 

Improved Log A Catch

  • Logging a catch is now easier than ever. We streamlined the process, to make adding information easier and faster, while retaining the ability to keep your favorite spots a secret.

  • Extreme.Outdoorsmen, Dylan Grubb, uses FishAngler while searching for pike on a beautiful fall day in Michigan!

  • Check out what’s biting as Darcizzle Offshore fishes some docks and mangroves while navigating some foul weather with FishAngler!
